Course Objectives The general objective of the semester course is to strengthen the knowledge and sensitivity of a student towards an ecological and sustainable design.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Student will be able to recognize ecological and bioclimatic design concept and attitudes.
  • Student will be able to develop sensitivity towards an ecology.
  • Student will be able to analyze the effects of an ecological design behavior.
  • Student will be able to identify research opportunities in this field.
  • Student will be able to evaluate an ecological and bioclimatic design project.
Course Description The course analyzes, discusses and researches the eco system, ecological construction methods, bioclimatic design, environmental problems and pollution including air pollution, water pollution, solid wastes and noise pollution. Additionally, the course guides towards an investigation of ecological principles in human relationships, and the interaction with the environment.
